side mirror pins

Anyone know where I can get replacement pins for a side mirror (2001 Expy w/power and heated). Glass was stolen and my FORD dealer wants almost $200 for new assembly since the pins that attaches to the glass are missing. FORD in my areaa (NYC) will not sell the pins but will sell the glass piece.

P.S. I contacted Muth but they will only sell the pins with the signal mirror. I do not have the signal mirrors, and if possible, would like to avoid the $300 expense of buying a new pair when all I really need are the pins for one side.

Any help is appreciated!

I had my mirror broke on my 98 explorer. The best and cheapest way I found was to call around to some junk yards and replace the enitre mirror asslemby...I believe I paid $45 for my mirror but I had to go and take if off the junk car myself.

Thanks for the quick response, but those mirrors are just about impossible to find at a junk yard around NYC (Brooklyn/Queens). Found a couple of junk yards that had only 1 entire assembly but wanted more than $100 for it. To make matters worse, the one they had was not compatible with vehicle in one way or another.
