alright, we just hooked up my new alternator... and after driving for about 10 minutes the power level started to drop: my cd player kept shutting off, my instrument panel was really dim, and my turn signals were blinking about once every 2-3 seconds (really slow) and they were dim.
so we arent sure if we have it wired correctly. we had the power wire, the orange "field" wire, and the ground hooked up to begin with.
right now we are testing the wire we had hooked up on the ground (a black and white wire) switched over to the stator connection.
are either one of these connections correct?
thanks
