460 engine specs
I have a 1983 F350 with a stahl service box. the engine was replaced before I bought the truck. When I went to the parts store for tune-up parts they gave me autolite 25 plugs. When I went to install them, I found that the engine has autolite 45 plugs in it. All the information that i can find does not list a 45 plug in any 460. How do I find out what engine and heads I really have. Engine has 45,000 miles on it. Runs good but uses alot of gas. I have been setting the timing by the specs for an 83, info from parts store. This may not be right. Has manual 4 speed with 411 gears.
