I don't recommend getting free internet, because most of the time, to keep their servers from getting overloaded, you have certain times that you can be on. If you're wanting ultimately free internet, go to the library. If you go with netzero good lucky if you have any problems.
Sooner or later we all learn using computers for anything that the old adage that if it sounds too good to be true it always is .
Free in this binary code world always means you will get more than you bargain for and is the first word on my mail rules list to be blocked which even without spyware and filters turfs about 1/2 the junk mail .
Nigeria,Lottery,US Funds,US $, Million , and Free on this list delete about 75%
of all my junk mail right at the server without even putting the firewall protection to work .
There are millionaires made every day off of those amoung us that still think we will someday be blessed by something for nothing .
Just keep buying those legitement lottery or power ball tickets gang and even if you win it was still not "FREE" you had to buy the ticket , right !
I wish all these adware/spyware, virus making geniuses would quit wasting there time creating all this stuff, and find a way to hack into the system for free. There's gotta be a way. They can seem to hack into anything else.

It's against the law to hack into a system, and take resources. Bit it's okay to give you things, such as pop-ups and what not. I think they need to make another law, and get rid of ads all together. I did learn tho, that you can make a fortune if you make a website and have ads on it. There's a kid at my school that makes 10 grand a month from pop-up ads on his website, he's one of my friends. Haha but let's not talk about the website he made.
I know it's free at the library but you can't download or receive anything. The local community college has free internet use and I don't even have to sign in or anything and I can send or receive anything.
I just thought there might be another free one like netzero.
Initially, I think all of them were free but they sucked us in like everything else. I just can't get myself to pay for something like this when I know we were lured in to the whole internet thing.
Guess I'll stick with netzero and the local community college.
i suppose some parts of the country have better phone lines than we do here- you could have a cray super computer and not be succesful with any dial up service here. we just bit the bullit and went with the cable modem- have not had even the remotest problem since then- it's about a buck a day but it works- ALWAYS
I believe Juno free is still only 10 hours a month. It used to be unlimited but people took advantage and stayed on 24/7 taking up bandwidth from the paying customers. It is so full of pop ups and ad banners that you can barely see the web page. It's so slow to load up cause of all the adverts poping up. I saw an ad for their full unlimited service for $6.95 with no adverts. I've been using their offline email for about six or so years and used the paid internet for about six months with no problems at all. I never had a problem hooking up. Now I use a comp dial up from the job at the house. I hear netzero paid still has a small ad banner on top. Juno and netzero is owened by the same company now.
