5.4 engine stall on start up?

It's a "99" 5.4, For about 2 weeks now, when trying to start the truck when the engine is cold it takes maybe 3 trys then it will stay running. It does not do it if the engine is warmed up. Has anyone had this problem or have an idea. Maybe a trip to autozone and let them check the codes.

It's the idle air control (IAC) valve. They get carboned up inside. You can try cleaning it, but I alway replace them with a new OEM from the dealer.
