Color Problem

My brother went to purchase a new 2004 F-250, two tone blue and beige, he is supposed to pick up the truck on Tuesday, but the truck is Blue and Silver, he signed a bill of sale, put no money down yet, and has not released his trade-in, what can he do...legally??

Refuse it. If it is not what was agreed on you do not have to take delivery. What I suggest is figure out if he can live with the color, if so go to the dealer and refuse it, then bargain for some $ off or some free service etc....

Hold out for what he ordered. The interior will be different as well, makes a difference for some. Re-order, go to another dealer, but get the one you want.

I'm not sure SD is available in that color combination, besides, how could he order a 2004, they stopped making them 6 months ago.

My brother decided to step away from the deal, the manager tried to make amends, and offered a little, a very little, to persuade my brother into buying. I told him to order a 2005 straight from the factory next time to avoid problems....thanks again for the advise
