Cool Coolant Leak

I have a 96 F150 with a 4.9 inline 6. All of the coolant leaked out through what I thought was a bad freeze plug. I replaced 2 of the 5 on the passenger side of the block that were leaking. Thinking the problem was fixed, I put anti-freeze back in and started the truck. I then started to get a coolant leak from the back of the engine. I have determined that it is not the freeze plug on the head. It seems to be leaking below that freeze plug and between the transmission and the block. Is there a freeze plug located there?

Hi and welcome to the forum

There is a frost plug on the back of the block, in behind the flywheel.
To access it you have to remove either the engine or the transmission from the truck

Racerguy, thanks for the info again. It was a freeze plug. FYI...there are 2 freeze plugs inside the transmission case on the 4.9.
