double '69s

So, okay, I've been "lurking" when I had time, for the past couple of years. I now have a bit more time to work on these projects. I own a pair of 69 F-100s, 360, 3-on-the-tree, 2wd. I have been planning some swapping to make one nice truck, and parts. I haven't been able to find a reference, other than the owners manual that came with one, on specifications and such. I can't yet buy the cd set that I've seen, but my daily driver of-the-moment seems to have some valve or rod knock. I know enough to check the valves, but I don't know what is the correct clearance. Any help would be appreciated.
