Electrical Problem
Hey Folks,
I have a 2000 F-250 SD V10. Recently, when I turn on my headlight switch, my dash illumiation does not come on. The compass and radio lights do not dim when the headlamp switch is turned on either. The only other malfunction of note is that the warning "bong" that my headlights are on with an open door, no longer works either. I cannot find a burnt fuse and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Oh, a remote starter that was installed 5 years ago, when activated flashes the park lights...when this happens, the dash lights also flash and the radio and compass lights dim.
The parking brake light and the 4WD light work fine as does the engine warning lamp.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
