The big one here is the last weekend in June, $50 entry fee, $5K Cash purse.
If you are seriously interested, I will fax or mail out applications when they become available. There will be a lot of people at this bog, and most likely the purse will be a lot higher when it comes to race time. There will be three classes, Gas, Nitro/Alcohol, & Diesel AFAIK. More info as soon as I hear about it.
I will be at that bogg weather i have the budget bogger or not (front end might be torn apart for the sas and lift). But anywho i e-mailed one of the guys (head of a club thats a big part of it) about this event and here's what he said:
"Ok, Here goes
The rally dates were confirmed at last nights meeting.
June 25-26
The following rules are general. If you have specific questions let me know.
rules, Normal safety equipment, Helmet , long sleeve shirt, Roll cage if open top rig.
rear attachment point, Preferably a 2" reciever hitch
Classes: We usually run by tire size (printed on tire). Cut tires move up one class.
35 and under dot
36 to 44 or 36 and up dot.
Open = any tire but not nitrous or blowers ETC.
Xclass = anything goes
When we get closer we'll be putting the poster or info on the BMP website"
i was wondering is there a web page for info on this mud bog. i am really interested in this so could you guys post as much info on as possible like time, place , ect..
I'll find the site later tonight when i got more time, but the info thats already posted (with the exception of where bmp is-billings motorsport park) are the only things that will be up on the site as far as info about the mud bog, but who knows.
As Cody said, the site is Billings Motorsports Park, 15 miles north of Billings on Roundup road.
They have meetings on this every week, so there is a lot of potential to change little things. The dates are fixed, since this goes on during the regular circle/dirt track racing season.
Rob, get that friggin 460 stroker thrown back together! =) =) Looks like You and Pro need to go head to head .
I would have to get some wider tires these guys are runnin bogs and my skinny tires dig down to hard for that, they work great in the drags, but not good for the deep stuff. But have been thinking about it, have a friend around here that has a set of 35x16 cut boggers I could use, so may have to make it out, and give it a go.
So what about it Pro, wanna meet in Montana, and have a grudge race?
also Saurian, I'm working on it, have to have it together by first of may to be at the first race around here.

Mattsbox,
With you actually being in Billings and all, also that you're into mud bogging and whatnot, do you know what ever came of that wreck at the front gate of the BMP two years ago (with the Chevy pickup and the minivan that was passing it)? My friend and I were about 3/4 mile back from the wreck site and didn't get to see anything.....it was all cleaned up by the time we got up to the gate.
