quick horsepower

i have a 1984 f150 with a 351,is there anything i can do without spending money to get a quick step-up of horsepower. i have heard you can flip the top of the intake and stuff like that but i dont know if i trust that. any ideas??

Post quick horsepower

The first thing you can do, but it will cost a little. Put a set of good headers on it. If you need more power (I don't know what size tires you have on), but going with a smaller tire will give you more power for pulling. These aren't free but, they are easy.

Thats my story, and I'm stickin to it.

86 F-150 4x4 4spd
302 EFI with 351w heads, Roller Rockers, Hedman Headers, K&N Air Filter, 7" lift with 35"s
