Angry U Joints

Anybody using NAPA U joints? I sent my helper to town to the local NAPA for
u joints for a 89 F150 4x4, much to my dismay the price was 2$ more!! But theres more after opening the box I find a generic U joint that was made in
CHINA!!! I call the store @ what I find out is that they dont sell WESCO as there house brand anymore, just this CHINESE JUNK . Took them back @ got some SPICERS from another parts house at a better price!! I'm driveing the extra 6 miles to get the good stuff.
Have a good day HOTWRENCH

I had the same problem. And they don't sell Timken wheel bearings anymore either.

I think NAPA is getting pressured to sell the cheap stuff now because of the competition they are getting from the other chain parts places. I needed U joints and an output shaft yoke and went strait to a driveshaft shop in town, didn't even waste my time checking the other places (and i don't have to try to remember what i pulled my transmission and drive shaft out of to get a part, i just have to tell them the type of transmission i had).
