Big Bronco Mass Air
Does anyone know a source for a 24lb mass air that will fit the current filter box set up in my 94?
I have one for a Mustang but don't want to have to fab something that will look half-assed after cutting the original intake hose.
Better yet would be an aftermarket cold-air kit or something similar to go along with it.

Summit Racing sells a direct replacement 73mm mass air made by Vortech it uses your mass air sensor and has a interchangeable sample tube so you can get the sample tube for 24lb. injectors. I bought one a few months back with the 19lb. sample tube, I've been satisfied with it.

ur talking about puttin the single bore maf meter onto ur double tubs right?
if so then go to a junk yard find a ford truck close to ur year or one that has mass air and get the y adapter thingy outta it...and thatll do it

No no, he has mass air, just the one he bought for 24lb injectors doesn't have the flange that mounts with 4 screws to the stock bronco filter box. The one he has takes a slip on filter and clamp.

Ah, got it. Part #VOR-8A301-024 at the Summit website. For $125 that's a great price I think. I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if htey come in 24lbs, doesn't specify on the site.

Oops. Upon furthe inspection into the instrucitons it appears that it is just an increased size tube 73mm or 80mm and still uses the stock electronics.
I will call them tomorrow though incase there is one avail through them that is not listed. I'm sure that other manufacturers have them but for way more cost and without free shipping like Summit.

So it looks like I will go with the unit avail thru Summit. $125 plus the internals from the Mustang unit I have is not TOO bad. Well it saves a lot of agivation which I have had with this project so far.
I'll let you know how it runs whenever I get his thing put together.
