solid axels

from 80-86 did ford put solid front axels in their f-250 4x4 and f-350 4x4. and what trucks did they if they did?

In 1986, Ford started to put a solid front axle in the F-350 only. They used the Dana 60. They never put a solid front axle in the F-250 from 80-96, just the Dana 44HD in the regular duty F-250 and the Dana 50 in the Heavy Duty F-250's.
