73 Highboy

Ive got a question I have a 73 F250 Highboy with power assist stering and I whould like to know if a stering box off a non assist truck will bolt on without modifications other than linkage. See the truck started off as a juck yard truck in AZ. I bought the truck to pull the cab and use the running gear for my 1/2 ton 72 ya ya you probably know the wheel base is different as I found out the hard way after I sand blasted the frame and then repainted black. The truck has a 205 divorced transfer case, dana 60 rear end and a dana 44 closed knuckle front end. Yes I whould like to change the front end to a disk brake axle. That is in the making. It also has 360 in it which soon I will change out with a 390 with a 428 crank and so on. The 72 body is a AZ truck with very minimal rust damage and I just am stuck on that body style. I had to cut out 2 1/2 inches out of the frame behind the transfer case to shorten the frame and just drilled 2 new holes for the bed in the front and every thing else bolted right up. Installed new cab mounts and alot of bolts and nuts and then bolted on 35's o ya that looks great but the tires look a little big so I will install a 2 inch lift with the 4 inch factory total of 6. But any ways I need help on this steering problem so if could I whould like to here from you if you know thanks. James.
