I am looking a purchascing a 71 squire which I belive to have a 351c but not positive. It has 36,000 ariginale miles no rust and could to get it for 1500-2000. I would like to know how many were made and if its a reasonable price if possible.and the engine sizes availible this year.

PS;interior is good and has air. the paint is sort of a green.

Engines available for 1971 were the 250cid 6 cylinder, the 302, 351C 2V and 4V, and the 429. Total Ranchero production that year was 24,946, with 2,595 being Squires, according to my Ranchero source book. I'm not sure what the current market value of 71's are, so I can't offer you anything concerning that. Hope this helps.
