check engine light

my check ingine light is on cuz i forgot to hook the O2 sensor back up before i started the truck. i need to get a scanner hooked up to it to turn it off, but i dont want to have to pay someone $65 to do it. im on a tight budget right now and realyy cant afford to pay that. any suggestions?

Disconnect the negative battery cable forr 15 minutes.

If you love the radio presets, just pull the fuse to the computer in the underhood relay box.
