390 performance increase
now that i pulled my motor (390)and trans, i'm thinking about increasing the performance a little more than stock, can you guys give me a little help, maybe cam info or pistons, what is the best for increase HP. i would like to maybe roast the tires to the end of second gear,(3spd trans). right now it will light em up clear thru first, chirp in second. i dont want to change trans or 3.00 rear end. also i want to run stock manifolds, headers are a pain. thanks for any info..

The biggest peformance increase you can give your FE is headers, there a pain to install, but its worth it, it is a HUGE difference. Post this in the FE forum, there are tons of experts there who race FE's, they know exactly what you need.
