Anyone know the fuel rail pressure for a 1996 351? It's in a F250 4x4. And if so, is the reading static, key on, and, what about running at idle?
Still troubleshooting a code 172, HEGO lean. The CKeng light only comes on once truck is warmed up and at cruising speed. Goes off, and stays off, when truck is shut down. Repeat after warming and cruising. Since I can't find vacuum leaks, exaust leaks, etc. I'm looking at a fuel delivery low or high pressure. May be off base but think a fuel filter may cause low, dirty inj may cause high. Just need the specs.
Turn the Key to ON about 2-3 times. Turn key OFF. Pressure should be at 40PSI i think. It shouldnt drop more than 5PSI in 30 seconds. If it does, it cold be a leay injector or maybe a bad regulator.
I fixed my HEGO Lean code by replacing the 02 sensor.
93GreenF150, Did the code act like mine? remember it does not stay on when you restart the truck, I could idle around town and no light, then when I hit hwy speed (60-70) it pops on.
