I need help please!!!!!
I need a wiring diagram for a 1985 f-150 with the 300-6 that has the wires of the voltage regulator in it. My haynes doesn't have anything...I need to know where the 4 wires go to...specifically the black one. Any help is appreciated!

Here's the diagram if your truck has a factory amp guage. Sorry it doesn't have colors, and I am not at home where I can look in my Haynes manual(which has all the diagrams and wire colors) to see where the black wire goes. I wonder why your's doesn't have the diagrams?

That is a ground bolt that attaches to the case which in turn is grounded through mounting to the engine.
