Burning CAT????
I've taken my truck into the shop at least 3 times to have my oil pan gasket replaced and worked on because it won't stop leaking. And now everytime i turn off my engine and get out of my truck i hear a sizzling sound and smoke coming from what appears to be the catalyic converter. So my question is.....is my catalyic converter burning up?? or is the oil that's leaking from the oil pan gasket creating the sizzle, smoke, and smell??? Also i should add that the times that it's made a sizzling sound there has been water on the ground from it raining. I'll attach a picture soo you guys can hopefully help me to identify the problem. any help would be rad thanks. -ryan

The first thing I would do is get under the truck when it's dripping whatever and figure out the type of fluid. The I would trace the fluid back to the source, most of the time it moves downwards and towards the rear.

Adding a Flowmaster is highly unlikely to cause the problems you are experiencing. What does the smoke smell like? Burning oil has a much different smell than a failing cat. I'd put my money on oil dripping onto the exhaust system somewhere.
