Stupid Wipers

They work fine on low and high, but if i try to use the delay features they just stop in the middle of the winshield same with when i use the wash function anyone have any ideas? thanks

What year is the truck?

Mine does the same thing. My truck is a 1996 Ranger, 2.3 4cyl. 5 speed manual. I was told it could be something called a GEM component that is buried deep inside of the dash assembly. I would really like to fix mine, but I am trying to avoid removing the entire dash so I am living with it.

Dave the truck is a 97. and ccrc1 thanks for the input ill search about this little GEM, i dont care where it is ill pull the whole truck apart to fix its retarded ways it drives me crazy! thanks again guys!

I would look at the Multifunction switch. There are some posts on how to clean it here in the fourm. Do a search and give it a try, then look at the GEM.
