Smile Lifting my 4x2

As I have said before, I have an '87 f250 4x2. I put 245/75/16 mudders on it. I am considering putting blocks under the rear leaf springs and wedges in the front coil springs. Will this give me 2-3 inches of lift and do I need to worry about lines or steering column adjustments? I'm not wanting to own the tallest truck in town, just want to make it look a little more agressive.

I went to 31 x 10.50 tires got the next size up front coils from advance auto $65.00
a set of helpers for the rear $99.00 on ebay and heavy duty shocks all around.

Got a good 1 1/2 - 2 inches and makes the tires look just right,
and now my wife has to do this little hopping motion to get in :-).

For the price I would take bigger front coils over spacers any day.
For the rear I went with helpers over blocks because I sometimes tow
a trailer.
