There was a discussion about these plugs at 3si.com (3000GT/Stealth Board). While they do last longer than the platinum plugs, they have higher resistance. Guys who've used them on the turbo motors actually had a degrade in performance due to them not firing under boost due to the excessive resistance of the plugs. So if you're looking for extended spark plug service intervals, they'd be worth it (but not for that price, you can get them cheaper) but for the performance use, they plain suck. And read their claim.
"We Took a 2000 Ford Expedition, With a Whipple Supercharger, Catback Exhaust, and upgraded Computer a to a Dyno Facilty in our area. We got these gains from an average of 2 runs.
2000 Ford Expedition with 27,196 Miles
19.4 HP Increase At the Wheels
25.9 TQ Increase At the Wheels
This Gain is a High one, and is directly due to the Other Mods, Especially the Super Charger. We would estimate a 13 or so HP gain, and 13 or so TQ gain on a stock Expedition."
Which means that if 13HP gain is due to the plugs, that means that the supercharger, exhaust, and the chip only accounted for 6.4HP gain! I guess they should've made their bogus claim more believable.
