fuel tank selector

I am trying to find a replacement for the fuel tank selector on my 86 f350 dually 7.5 L. The part list is showing one motor driven and one not motor driven. What is the difference? they both look alike.

It may be the current rating of the contacts in the switch. The ones without the motor just had to switch the small fuel valve solenoid and the signal wire from the sending units. The other one has to switch a motorized valve instead of a solenoid, and sometimes electric fuel pumps too(some 460's had elec pumps with the dual tanks). These probably draw alot more current than the other set-up.

I went ahead and ordered the motorized one. My fuel pumps are switching like they should but the valve isn't switching. I can swap tanks than bang it with a ratchet and it will switch. Also one of the fuel gauges stopped giving a reading. The truck will just not run at high RPM's without cutting out. Than I flip the selector switch in the cab and it will run for another mile or so. I'll replace the selector valve tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for the input and let me know if you have anymore advice!!
