In cab fuel tank replacements
I have a 1977 F250 4x4, Styleside,400 engine.
I have not been able to find anyone that makes a replacement in cab fuel tank, metal or plastic, for this vehicle. Does anyone know of a source ?
I am planning on having mine boiled out and re-lined, but I would love to just buy a new one instead.

they don't make any new in-cab gas tanks, I think it is because their illegal unless factory equipped or something like that, if you look around on the web you can find some good used ones around, my dad got one for his 69 in excellent condtion for 150 including shipping

It runs around $150 here to have a tank boiled and relined. I called one of the sponsors of the board here that begins with "A", and they had a used tank that needed boiling and re-lining for $250. I guess they must be hard to come by ...
