'98 Explorer Climate control stuck on hot
My climate control **** does adjust between cold and hot anymore. The only time I can get cold air is if I put the Max a/c on. I've heard a couple a things. Most people's consensus is that the rheostat that went bad. Any way to test that? Can anyone suggest where to purchase this on the web? I don't want to get smoked with a dealership bill if it's something simple.
On another matter, the display on my radio went out. I removed the radio to take it to a dealership so that the bulb could be replaced. Apparently, it's the whole LED panel that needs to be replaced. The dealership just "sends it out". Again, for a stupid light, I don't want to get rocked by a $150 bill. Anyone had any luck doing this repair?
