Hello,
What is the best way to test a fuel pump relay. I have power going to my fuel sending units and tank selector but no power to my fuel pumps. I am thinking I have a malfunctioning relay. Thank You in Advance.
Don't forget to check the inertia swicth on the inside of cab pass. side firewall. I hate to say this but fuel pumps are common to quit, I had one last 3 months, new from Ford before going south, if ant of you guys in the South see it flying over let it go to the Gulf.

Hello Kermmydog,
The white button on my inertia switch was poped up. It was done prior to me aquiring the truck because it had an electric fuel pump installed on the right fender well. I had a tank leaking bad at the seal and I tested the pump motor at that time to see if it was bad and it worked, So I figured I had an electrical problem. As it turned out, The inertia switch was the culprit. Would it be a good idea to just bypass this switch as it is hard to find and it doesn't seem to do anything but cause problems. Thank You for your time in this matter.
