Raan my truck over the scale yesterday. Front was 5900#. Back 2730#. My truck is a 05 F350 CC LB SRW Diesel. Full tank of fuel and 9'2" Boss V Plow on. And don't forget my 185#. Tim R.
I did mine on Friday. 04 F350 CC LB 4x4 6.0 SRW. With full tank of fuel, me at 175, truck weighed in at 7660 lbs.
I've weighed my truck (03 6.0 SRW CC SB) on many occasions and come to the conclusion that it weighs 7,100 lbs dry... 7,300 lbs w/full tank of fuel. So Lets check beemr's numbers: Add 125 lbs for the longbed and another 60 lbs for additional fuel + 175 (for beemr) and you get 7,660 lbs. Amazing!!!
I think I will list beemr as a character witness for me the next time someone posts that the 6.0 CC's don't weigh over 7,000 lbs
My F350 is a little older ('92). It usually weighs 6500 lbs at the dump with an empty bed. It's a CrewCab 4x4 SRW longbed 351. If mine had the diesel, I would expect it weight just over 7000 lbs, which would allow me a whopping 2200 lbs of payload (9200 GVWR).
03 F250 V10 CC Short box + full tank of fuel + me (165lbs) + Tow rope, reciever hitch ect. (+-100lbs) = 7020lbs on the DOT scale for the comercial trucks.
Front Axle = 4030lbs ----- Back Axle= 2990lbs
Seemed a bit heavy since it's not a long box, not a diesel, and not a 1 Ton.
I don't feel too bad now, I thought I was "overweight" when I was weighing in at 7600#, SC SB 4x4 PSD, but some of you guys are even heavier than me. I spose those 9' plows don't help much either.
Ah that would be you and a little rock in a trailer. Don't think your getting 8,000lbs of rock in the bed.... Had 6,000lbs in the bed of my SD the other day and it looked just about maxed out.
