Need help identifying buzzer???
I have a 1999 F250 diesel Superduty extended cab. After starting motor, I have a buzzer that sounds off 5 times, then pauses momentarilly, then buzzes 2 times, pauses, then buzzes 5 more times, then shuts off. Occasionally, while driving down the road, the buzzer repeats itself. I have noticed the airbag light flashing with the same sequence as the buzzer, would this be related or not?? The airbag light currently is not flashing, however, the buzzer still buzzes. any ideas???? Jeff

A Difficulty With The Air Bag SYSTEM IS INDICATED BY ONE Or More Of The Following
The Readiness Lights Will Either Flash Or Stat Lit
The Readiness Lights Will Not Illuminate Immeadiatley After Ignition Is
Turned On
A Series Of Five Beepswill Be Heard. The Tone Pattern Will Repeat PERIODICALLY UNTILL THE PROBLEM AND LIGHT ARE REPAIRED
IF ANY OF THESE THINGS HAPPEN, EVEN INTERMITTENTLY,HAVE THE SRS SEVICED IMMEDIATELY
YOUR AIR BAG SYSTEM MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION
