Replacing 240 I6 w/ FE - what changes?

I have a 240 I6 with a NP435 and a divorced t/case in a '69 F250 Highboy. I'm dropping in a FE, 352 or 390, and now want to keep the NP435 behind it. From what I've been told the engine mounts locations will work fine but does the rear face of the block line up the same? If not this will affect everything downstream, ie crossmembers. I also need to find a bellhousing. Anything specific about the FE-to-NP435 bellhousing or are all FE bellhousings the same?

If you get the proper housing for the motor/transmission every thing will line up. There will be a difference in the exhaust, rad and fuel lines ect. but this is minor and makes a nice swap. If you can try to pick up a parts truck as it will be alot easier to get all the small /big parts and save hunting for all the odds and ends you will need. It can be a newer truck up to a 1976 as most of the mechanical parts interchange between this years. These older Ford trucks were simple to work on and to swap components on.
