Hey guys,
I have a thermostat problem with my ranger, and the simple job of replacing it, is not as simple as it should be. I have a 93 ranger 4x4 3.0, and my problem is this; one of the two mounting bolts is directly under a super stiff wire loom, which is under an injector line, which are both (the loom and injector line) in front of the intake manifold. What's up? And what should I do, or is this a job I should let somebody in a heated garage do for me??????? Thanks, happy holidays.

well, i did mine 2 times, and i did it outside (summertime, warm) with the help of 2 extensions, a knuckle joint, and some profanity. the second time went 100x faster. But its possible, i have the same truck as yours just a year later, so it should be the same. I dunno if i would do it outside though, i might try and con a friend into doing it in his heated garage
i think i had to use somthing to move it up out of the way. Its a pain until you get the hang of it. like some wire and string it out of the way. it should make it easier
