Unhappy Power dead need help

Hi everyone,
I have a 98 F150 4.6L . I recently had problems with my alternator so I had it replaced on tuesday. Well, New Years eve I go to pick up my date, and the battery light comes on, then all the gauges die. I pulled into Auto Zone. It would start again. I was told it was my cylanoid. Replaced it, and also gave it a new battery. It worked fine. The battery light flickered a few times , but stopped. It lasted me another 50 miles or so then started that again the next day. And again, the battery was dead. So here I am, dead new battery, new alternator, new cylanoid. Did i just get a bad alternator? Or do I have another problem somewhere? thanks in advance, tim

Could be a bad alternator. Need to have it load tested. Also, check all of the connections on the alternator, could have a bad wire.

alternator

My guess would be the alternator. In the past I got 3 bad ones in a row before I got one that worked. Same thing happened to my dad and his truck. The funny thing is we both went to different dealers in different states and they both had bad parts.
