Finally after all them 70 to 80 hour weeks I found some time to work on my 69 F250 after having a few days off. I put a tilt steering collum out of a 79. Anybody know how to wire this setup? If not when I do it I'll take notes and make a diagram. More good news I bought a new truck with a plow so I can take the plow off the 69 and put collector plates on it. Its just to nice of a old truck to use for plowing. Frame blasted and painted and mint body with a 428 PI for the engine and D60 front out of the 79 F250 and 4:11 posi in front and locker rear. Signs you are a old truck red neck. You buy a brand new truck with a V plow so your old truck will stay nice! Tim R.
Hey rogue, what does the plug on your 69 look like? Is it kind of a grey half moon shaped plug? If so, post the colors of the wires that are on your cab harness, and I'll see if I can help you. I drive a 73 model. I put a 79 model tilt collum in mine. I had to change the wires around to make the turn signals and horn work.
i need some help (ie:wiring on signals-1970 ford f-100)

i spoke to the previous owner abd he change the turn signal switch in the past, ie:no plug-ins for the harness exist now, and he cant remember how he hooked em up originally. other than he matched wires the same way he saw them on his signal switch? please help out there. my only wheels to get around..
