How long has your truck sat? I know my dad's 79 Bronco will sit for a few months and then his pedal will stick when he goes to use it. After a while it will stop doing it. I have lubricated the pedal linkage but it didn't help. I think it is the rod inside the master cylinder that sticks (but I could be wrong). I don't worry about it, it will go away. Just make sure you lift that pedal up or your brake lights will be on and you will have a dead battery.
