Those with predator
I have the economy, 60 hp setting in, and if the truck is warmed up, and I park and get out and let it idle. It will fast idle to about 900 rpms. Is this part of the predator tune, or did I just not notice it before. Also I have heard about gutting the ebpv, when you do this will the motor still go into high-idle mode?? I would like it to idle up when it is cold, but just not with the valve closed.

Yes your year truck did not high idle and that is one one of the reasons guys talk about wet stacking being a possible problem but it was the 94-99.5 trucks. It was a computer add on in the later models
