Help
I just purchased my 2000, f350/PS, Auto trans, 4x4 w/ manual hubs. The arrows are scraped and warn off? If I remember from my old one the driverside turned forward (headlights) is "free" or unlocked and the passenger side turned to the rear (tailgate) is "free" or unlocked. Anyone know or can look?

If you don't get an answer, do a test. Put a log ( or something else ) against the front of your front tires. 2 wd - try to get the truck "stuck". Put the transfer case into 4x4 low, and try again with the hubs in the same position. They will probably be unlocked. If so, lock the hubs and try again. You will know when the hubs are locked by the performance of the 4x4. Been my test on every 4x4 I ever bought to see if 4x4 works. Your test to see hub position.
