mounting gauges

I've got a '88 Ranger,2.9l, 5 speed and I'm wanting to know where a good place to mount my new gauges, water temp, oil, and volts. I'd like to find a pillar pod but so far no luck. The only other place is under the dash and over the hump. Any ideas? Also where the hookups would be on the engine. They are mechinical gauges.
