Clutch pedal problems
I have a 91 f350 7.5 w/ a 5speed. About a year ago i had to replace the arm that goes from the cross bar to the push rod for the master cyl. Hope that makes sense. Its the bar under the dash on the throtle side of the clutch pedal linkage. Ok well anyways the truck started acting the same as b4 i replaced it last time. Hard to start (wont trip saftey switch) A little hard shifting. So today i crawl under the dash and sure enough the pedal moves about an inch b4 the bar on the othe side moves. Could this be wearing out so quick because of bad pedal bushings that everyone gripes about or is there something that i am missing???

If yours is like my 95 there is a plastic bushing on the rod that runs through the clutch switch you refer to. It is in the eye that goes on the lever that is attached to the shaft from the pedal and it wears quickly or sometimes falls out. Ford part # E69Z*7526*A is what I carry in the glove box. I would double check part numbers to make sure.
