Hello, and Thanks For Having Me In Fte. Now On To The Serious Business Of Fords. The "other" Love Of My Life Recently Acquired A 1988 Ford F350 For Me With A Blown 460, I Have A Solid And Loved 400 From A 1/2 Ton Truck I Plan To Put In It. I Know That The Bolt Pattern For The Tranny Is The Same (c6) But!!!!! Big Problem With The Oil Pan-I need A Rear Sump Pan For The 400-i Am Wondering If The 460 Pan And Pick-up Tube For The Oil Pump Will Work On The 400-or Am I Dreaming Here. Any Help Would Be Appreciated. And To All Of You Who Think The 400 Is Fit For Trash Service, I Have Had Three Of Them And They Have All Been Solid Strong Reliable Engines-not As Out And Out Brawny As A 390 Say, But Worlds Improved From The Short Stroke 351m !
Once Again Thanks For Having Me Along, and Any Help Is Appreciated Very Much. Fords 4ever.
