please help. 1997 7.3 power stroke not getting fuel to the cylinders. has 70 lbs of fuel preasure.
How do you know it isn't getting fuel into the cylinders??? If you know that it has 70 psi of fuel pressure, then I would think that either your IDM is bad, your hpop has failed, or your cps is toast.
Does the tach move when you crank it over??? if the tach doesn't move then it is your CPS. commom problem will happen over nite. very eretic, fail anywhere, anytime.
If the idm was bad, I would think that it would have left a little trail, not just failed one day.
hpop's same thing, just don't die, kinda "go bad" then fail.
I just assumed that this is another no start situation, even though you didnt specify that.
See now the tach moving on cranking baffles me. My PSD runs great with no problems. Everyone says "Does the Tach move when cranking if not it is the CMP" But mine doesn't move at all when cranking my 2002? And it runs fine. So I think this may be for the pre-super duty's.
Interesting. I am gunna be leaving in about 20 minutes, so I will look at that, see if mine moves, but it is warm so maybe it will fire to soon. we will see.
