I have a 99 F150 4.6L V8 and i was wondering if anyone has installed a MSD stacker ignition 8 channel distrubtorless, or something similar to it. I was also wondering if there was an aftermarket coil? Any help would be appreciated.

I wonder if that system will work with the 2 coils that your 4.6 has?
I saw a truck with 2 MSD coil packs on it a while back. He also had MSD plug wires. It looked pretty cool. The owner said he didn't notice any difference with them. The factory ignition system is pretty strong.
Perhaps on a modified engine that needed more spark energy there would be a difference.
thanks, yeah i dont think ill get it with my somewhat stock engine. I was hoping it would bring out alot of hidden power in the leftover fuel, but i dont think the cost to horsepower is worth it. Right now im just going to get a complete cold air kit from k&N, and a good exhaust system. Thanks again.
