Right front turn signal doesn't work

Have an '93 AWD extended. Originally thought right front turn signal bulb was burnt out.

Replaced with new and still won't work. Left signal works fine; both front and rear.

Right rear works fine also. Running light works fine too.

Put voltage tester in socket and have juice to running light contact, but nothing for turn signal.

Anyone experience this before?

It would seem I have an open circuit some where between the bulb and ?.

Any thoughts on where to start looking?

Had a problem like that before on some car i had way back when. Put a new bulb in the OTHER side and it started working! Might be worth a try.

Solved my own problem!

The open circuit was caused by a little furry animal chewing through the turn signal wire. Thankfully the chew through was right where the wire bundle goes into the engine compartment.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I had mice inside the van and still have as far as I know, I keep finding the edge of the carpet on the dog kennel cover chewed.
