I have an 04 Super crew 4x4. I had a noise which sounded like the transfer case was trying to engage during cold weather. It was a buzzing sound. I took it to my dealer, who determined that it had a bad front axle seal and water had entered and caused a lot of damage to the axle and front hubs. My dealer has been great but my gripe is with Ford. They can't get parts. My truck has been at the dealer from 12-17 till now 12-30. They say the parts are on back order and Iwill not see my truck till O5. They gave me a Veh to use but it's not the same.
