OK, First thing to do is do a search on heater core. There are many threads you need to read. I did this once with a cheap heater core I got off of ebay. Just straight rubber hose connections. If you get a better Ford core it should have the quick disconnects. That is another story. Do the search.
You should also get a manual. I've got both the Haynes and Chiltons manual. You can get them used off of ebay too. Haynes you can get at AutoZone. Read the procedure there. Have a friend help. I did mine alone. It would have been much better with help.
