I have a 1990 F150 and the headihts have years of grime and abuse on them. I want to bring them back to original condition (or close to) without replacing them. My mechanic suggested using rubbing compound to do this have tried but not working very well. Has anyone had experince with this or no of a product that will help. Thanks

Rubbing/polishing compound and LOTS of elbow grease.
