The other day i went out and cranked my truck to warm up. I went back to it in about 15 minutes and i wasn't running. i tried to crank it , but no luck. Ford sent a tow truck to take it to the dealer. They thought the igniter pump regulator was out. Turns out it wasn't. Now they are telling me they are not sure what it is. the service manager told me the high pressur oil had low pressure. Has anyone else had a problem like this ? Does anyone here know of any info i can share with the ford mechanic? Any help would be appreciated? The truck only has 25k miles on it.

Hi bojo,

The mechanic said the Injection Control Pressure regulator was out , my bad on saying the igniter pressure regulator. He replaced it and it did not fix it. Anyway he says the HPO is bad now .
So, basically they are replacing parts until they fix it. I hate to see that Warranty claim. Did you ask them if it is building any injection control pressure? Or is it not seeing any injection control pressure? Are you Ford guys/gals having issues w/ the HPOP? I havent seen any on our side at my dealership, Although ive heard of a couple at other local dealers. Just wondering.
