I was looking into this truck cause I thought it would be a welcomed replacement to my truck. What'yall think? Looks like someone put in the wrench time, or paid to have someone do it!
And the best thing I think is the fact that there is no poor little 302, with bad idle and low hp and tq. I like the carb'd 400 idea and it's very modifiable. IMO.
I wonder what it makes for hp and tq... Is the 400 a good motor?

The ebay links don't work through FTE, so just post the actual Item number. The person can then go to Ebay.com and type in that number in the search and pull it right up. A person can also click the "ebay" link which FTE automatically makes when someone types "ebay".
I'd be concerned with the fact that it was swapped to a carbed engine, and the fact that he uses a 9" rear. The 9" rear would have had to have been modified to accept a tone ring for the speedometer/abs....so if it was tampered with (which it had to have been) i'd be concerned whether it was done right and that the speedo/abs are functional like they should be. I don't know what the laws are in your location, but in most states here it's illegal to put a motor like that in that truck. I don't know what it's like in canada, but check on that (is it street legal). I myself, would just look over that thing with a fine toothed comb, a lot of people cut corners in modifying their vehicle when they get lazy or simply don't know how (even if they're doing serious modifications like he has). So I'd just be leary of the quality of work, and the other minor issues.
