That is good on the road, but I just hate all the shifting when daily driving. I'll just keep the fluid changed and hope for the best.

What we need is a truck with two trannys and you could just switch to the one you want to use. Doubt that is in the works.

I have a 99 f-350 cc, drw,4x4, autoamtic with a special order 3.73 ratio and I pull our toy hauler that goes around 14.5k loaded and use OD whenever I can. I have found though that sometimes I get just as good of mileage when I take it out of OD if it starts lugging. I do have a trans temp gauge and usually never hit 200 on it. I have added a tru-cool transmision cooler though. I kinda figure that the truck was made to be used so I use it, and if it won't do the job I would just get a bigger one. Thats the reason I have the one I have. I'm right at 100K now and still on the factory tranny, but also change the fluid and filter about every 15-20k just because it pulls so much so often.
