on the door frame of my 88 ranger ,just under the door catch is a black
piston /ram thing that pushes on the door when its closed whats it do
please? oh yeah and whilst at the junk yard this week i picked up a hood prop rod and installed it on the othe side,now i have 2 and boy are they secure
on a windy day! lol
yeah i thought that to, but the interior light switch is located in the hinge side of the door frame between the hinges,now i think that the black thing pushes the door clear of the catch when you pull the handle, but was looking for confermation of this from folks more informed than I. its the onlt thing on the truck that im not 100%sure of its function and was just curious Roy.
